Volkswagens may not have been the fastest cars ever to hit American freeways, but no car was ever faster when it came to making people smile.

The Twin Cities VW (Volkswagen) Club recently hosted its 19th annual swap meet at Northland Collision in Apple Valley Saturday, April 18. At the meet, local Volkswagen enthusiasts had the chance to find vintage parts for their cars, swap stories, or simply mingle with others who have also been bitten by the Volkswagen bug. In addition to swap meets, the Twin Cities VW Club does burger runs and attends car shows all over the country.
